Our Mission for Kindergarten
The Vanessa Sukhumvit School’s curriculum is based on the Multiple Intelligences theory developed by Dr. Gardner. His theory articulates that intelligence encompasses many different abilities and intelligence is not restricted to purely mathematical or logical thinking. Here at The Vanessa Sukhumvit School, we believe that every individual possesses a unique blend of all the intelligences, and it is our job as educators to develop the skills and abilities of our learners in all realms. We aim at cultivating all intelligences to empower our learners and create well-rounded individuals. Our goal at The Vanessa School, Sukhumvit 26, is to promote early development of a wide-ranging skill set that is paramount to academic success in a child’s years to come. We believe that children are capable and creative, and must be treated as such. We aim to provide an environment for academic growth, confidence building and fun to set our students up for a lifetime of success.

Here at The Vanessa Sukhumvit School, we are friendly, family orientated and smaller in comparison to other international schools in the area and because of this we establish good working relationships between teachers, parents and the children.
During pre-school years, children’s learning is more explicit and visible; therefore, we create an authentic, organic and creative environment to help shape children’s development.

The Vanessa Sukhumvit School has an international kindergarten setting, with the working language of English. The curriculum is based on American, early childhood studies, in an environment that is play based, holistic and inclusive. In our kindergarten, we believe that education should be taught through real life experience. Therefore, we strongly adopt an approach of real life experience and education not to be taught through screens.
Our Facilities
Swimming Pool
Our swimming pool is salt-water and has multi-depths to accommodate our youngest swimmers and challenge older students who have acquired advance skills.
Library
Our beautiful library contains books from around the globe including Korean, Japanese, Chinese, the American, British, and Thai titles. Students can cozy up in the library with a good book or use the puppet show theater to role-play with fellow classmates.
Indoor Gymnasium
Our indoor gym is where our physical education program takes place; the indoor gym boasts a basketball court and a rock-climbing wall.
Large Grass Pitch
Our lush and expansive grass pitch is a great addition to our school. Students and teachers take daily nature walks to discover the many plants, animals and natural processes that shape our environment and world. Also on our grass play area are play equipment, sandboxes, a trampoline, and a large area for children to play sports and run to their hearts’ content.
Class size
Each classroom contains a highly experienced Native English speaking teacher along with two very well trained and experienced Filipino teachers along with subject teachers in either Japanese, Chinese, German or French. This promotes strong linguistic skills in all languages offered at The Vanessa Sukhumvit School.
